I'm considering other panels of this size: I'm in the process of returning the screen as the headache with input switching is a dealbreaker as far as productivity goes. The built in KVM is flawless as far as keyboard/mouse goes (if we discount the input switching/wake up issues above). The box doubles as a setup station - it's very easy for one person to set this monitor up.The stand is pretty solid - the joints are metal and give minimal wobble. It retains the famous Dell build quality.I know in the MacBook case it's not sleeping because the clamshell is open, with the laptop screen on and I can move the cursor off screen. I would switch from work MacBook to personal MacMini, but see the "No Input Signal, going to Power Save" message almost half the time. My MAIN problem - the input switching on this screen has some major problems (not sure if it's monitor or OS, but given the lack of support it seems irrelevant).

The OS itself detects the panel as a "television" - not sure the implications there but it doesn't sound right to me.

In fact, there appears to be no drivers or software of any kind for Mac OS.

I need to use it with my MacBook Pro (2018) and Mac Mini (2018). This will be used for productivity only - mostly coding, browsing, and emails. In my months long search for the best home office/WFH setup, I've narrowed it down to a 38" Ultrawide (3840 x 1600) panel. UWG Nick, a 21:9 Youtube channel with gameplay videos
